Memo Machine

Memo Machine
8 prims, okCopy, okMod

Memo Machine reliably collects your messages inworld, avoiding the SL capped message problem.  Along with swanky simulated wood grain and sound effects, Memo Machine provides bonus features.

Bonus Features:

  • Robotic voice speaks:
    • “I am not home.  Please leave a message”.  Includes two voices, default female robotic voice, or if you prefer, a male robotic voice.  The robotic voice message is played after your visitor presses the Greeting button.
  • Records text memo:
    • Allows your visitor two minutes for typing you a message.  Easy for newbies to understand via open chat.
  • WebPage:
    • Opens your Second Life profile webpage.  Memo Machine automatically knows your Second Life profile webpage.  This is useful to allow passersby to easily view your profile.
  • Notification:
    • A message is sent to you when a visitor has touched the Memo button.  The visiting avatar and sim name are detailed in the IM to you from Memo Machine.
  • Landmarks:
    • Memo Machine gives a Landmark upon touch; and also has the ability to give multiple Landmarks.  A dropdown menu appears displaying Landmarks available to select.
  • Notecard:
    • Memo Machine gives a notecard upon touch request.
  • Message Me:
    • Includes “Message Me on my Memo Machine” texture.  Place this texture in your profile pics page to allow your friends to teleport to your Memo Machine.
  • Modifiable:
    • Memo Machine can be stretched to a larger size.  When rezzed Memo Machine is about the size of a classic home answering machine, yet it can be stretched larger as needed.  Advanced users will find Memo Machine’s modifiability interesting for customization.
