Secure Shelter Lookout (SSL) is ready to use when rezzed. There is no configuration, programming, or set up required. SSL is intended for owner only use, as anyone else will be ejected by the active structural security system.
Observation Deck:
The roof dome is made from one-way transparent glass allowing you to look out, while you are not seen by outsiders. The observation deck also includes a built in wrap-around shelf.
Door Control:
There is a large hidden side door. Before you can command the door for the first time, you will need to LeftClick it (this will cause the door to verify that you are the owner). Then, to open, type into chat, “/9 SSL open”; And to hide the door type “/9 SSL close”.
Active Structural Security System:
The exterior walls, doom roof, and floor of SSL will repel any intruder that contacts it (excluding the owner). Both the intruder and the owner receive a message from SSL stating that the intruder (name included) was auto-ejected by SSL.
The intruder receives this message: “SSL: Sorry…(intruder name)…removal by …Secure Shelter Lookout”.
The owner receives this message: “SSL: (intruder name)…has been removed by Secure Shelter Lookout. AutoEject completed…”
Usage Note:
The active structural security system is a no-lag design, intend for owner only use. In order for the active structural security system auto-eject feature to operate, it is required that you are the land owner. (While you may know of additional methods to sometimes enable deeded objects operation on group owned land, productPM.com limits support to owner only land). Configuring land settings to disable run scripts and create objects will also help to ward off sophisticated intruders).
Note: Group ease of use
Group access can be tricky (due to land settings, and group object/land ownership). To simplify group usage, Secure Shelter Lookout rezzes with an added unattached transparent floor, which provides group members with a regular floor to stand on without being ejected. If you reposition your Secure Shelter Lookout, remember to also move the transparent floor pieces. (If your Secure Shelter Lookout is for individual use [without a group], you may prefer to remove the transparent floor section).
Note: Detailed explanation for use with guests:
The SSL v1.3 contains a transparent floor covering on both the top and bottom floors. This transparent floor cover contains no ejection scripts, so it safe for anyone to walk on. SSL rezzes as three pieces, where two of the pieces are theses invisible floor covers. If you move SSL after rezzing it, make sure to also move the transparent floor covers. To see the transparent floor covers press [ ctrl ] + [ alt ] + [ t ]. You’ll need to see the transparent floors before you can select them to move. To turn off transparent view again hold down these keys [ ctrl ] + [alt ] + [ t ]. If guests continue to be ejected while the transparent floor covers are in place, try raising the transparent floor covers a little higher until you notice they are sufficiently shielding the ejector floors.
