This spreadsheet records the payments productPM makes to the United Nations Childrens Fund. productPM pays 5% of every sale at the productPM inworld store to UNICEF. The transaction process is described at the bottom of the payment ledger.

The inworld currency is in the linden (L$) denomination. This 5% is held in an SL avatar account "UNICEFproductPM Constantine". Linden Lab (the parent company of Second Life) allows this account to process L$ credit to PayPal ($1 transaction fee charged by Linden Lab). Through the LindeX Exchange, Linden Lab does not allow conversion of L$ lindens to $ US dollars unless the L$ linden amount is at least $2.50 US dollars. productPM makes payment to the UNICEF USA Fund PayPal account. Each payment amount listed above is the amount sent to UNICEF after Linden Lab charges $1.00 US dollar per transaction. UNICEF USA Fund requires registered volunteers to send in collections monthly (productPM strives to adhere to this UNICEF collection requirement; however, sometimes these funds are tied up due the Linden Lab minimum conversion requirement. In this event, productPM will check the account again in about a week to see if the minimum amount meets the Linden Lab requirement).
