To-Do List visually helps you quickly stay on task with the personal projects you would like to accomplish inworld. The To-Do List wall board includes room for 8 simultaneous tasks. Task button assignments are reusable by retyping the task description. The To-Do List features a % Completion scale to allow you to quickly see the how much you have accomplished, or the amount of unfinished work that you may wish to plan for. Usage:
(Note: The Set up instructions below will need to followed first, to allow proper usage response).
There are 8 red task buttons. You will type the name of each task into the description field of each task button, which will then hover the text above. Follow this procedure for each new task you have: Right click the task button > select Edit > In the description box, type the name of the task > close the edit window > LeftClick the task with your mouse pointer. You should see your task now properly titled in hovertext. Congratulations on creating a task! To chart the task progress, simply select the task via RightClick, and drag it forward along the % Completed scale.
Set up:
(Note: read the Set up Tip below first, for best set up alignment)
Rez your To-Do List. You will need to delink the tasks from the wall board. Here is how to delink: RightClick To-Do List > select Tools at the top of your viewer screen > select delink. Your To-Do List is ready to use.
Set up Tip:
The To-Do List rezzes as linked to help you position it where you like, as one piece, to save you the repeated steps of moving all nine pieces individually, and chance misalignment. After rezzing, do not use the manual sphere rotation, but rather move your To-Do List with the intersecting x, y, z pointers. Move your To-Do List in this way to the general location where you intend to keep it. If your To-Do List is facing the direction you like, then you are done. If not, then next you are going to use precise numeric rotation to make sure your To-Do List is placed along exact 90 degree square axis points: RightClick your To-Do List > select Edit > choose the Object tab > notice the last group Rotation (degrees) > in the z text box type 90 > then hit your return key. Try entering these numbers 0, 90, 180, 270, until To-Do List is facing the direction you like. This exact alignment will ensure your tasks slide along the wall board evenly.
